The Belle Isle Boat House is to be renovated into a cigar lounge with a piano room for entertainment and a working bar. The new facility will provide food and beverage space, rooms for parties, and amusement space with a focus mainly on private events. A primary focus of the renovation is to preserve the history of the
Boat House and provide a unique recreational experience. The newly renovated Boat House will attract
elite guests to its third floor lounge by converting the historic building back to its original character all while
providing a fresh face. The boat house will incorporate LEED standards throughout the entire renovation, with the goal of receiving at least LEED Silver standards.
